Ok, I've been revisiting some of the French poets lately - Here's a good fragment from the Surrealist poet Paul Eluard:

The heart has so much space it defies the stars
It is like a wave that has no need to ebb
It is like a spring eternalizing flesh
The majesty of life that gives the lie to death
